Our 5 Favorite Summer Salads


When the temps turn up and the sun comes out, it’s natural to crave cooler foods that will hydrate and refresh your body. Many fruits and vegetables can contribute to your daily fluid intake, helping you stay hydrated and prevent headaches and sluggishness caused by dehydration. A nutrient-rich salad is the perfect way to restore and refuel post-workout or poolside.

Get ready to head to the farmer’s market for some fresh fruit and veggies! We’re about to share 5 of our favorite summer salads that will conquer your hunger without weighing you down. The most satisfying salads are a combination of sweet and savory, crunchy and creamy, nutritious and delicious. Each salad begins with a base, making it easy for you to add or eliminate certain ingredients based on your own personal preference. In a bowl or on a plate, these salads are guaranteed to bring Balance & Bliss to your meal plan!



2 cups fresh spinach

1 small tomato, diced

¼ cup black beans

¼ cup shredded Tex-Mex cheese

3 T. salsa



1 cup cooked quinoa

¾ cup strawberries, sliced

¾ cup cucumber, diced

2 T. feta cheese

Sliced red onion to taste

2 T. raspberry vinaigrette dressing



1 cup cooked pasta

1 T. olive oil

1 T. apple cider vinegar

1 T. parmesan cheese

¼ cup peas

¼ cup carrots

1 clove garlic, diced

1 t. oregano



2 cups fresh watermelon

2 T. feta cheese

¾ cup cucumber, chopped

2-3 mint leaves, finely chopped



1 cup chickpeas

1 small, green bell pepper, chopped

1 small tomato, diced

1 clove garlic, diced

1 T. red wine vinegar

2 t. lemon juice

1 t. cumin

1 t. paprika

1 t. basil
